Unless otherwise specified IanFHood.com issues a GNU General Public License to the commissioning entity(s) effective immediately upon receipt of the appropriate payment(s).

Ian F. Hood retains all copyrights and ownership of all works and associated materials created by or through IanFHood.com,
except for:
specific images and/or artwork device(s) commissioned as clearly proprietary (such as corporate logos, salesmarks and trademarks) and/or artwork comprised of (or otherwise inseparable from) those and/or other proprietary materials such as images or artwork that were provided by the commissioning entity(s).

the GNU GPL License guarantees nearly unlimited, irrevocable legal rights to do what you want with the product and it's source code. For more specifics please read the preamble on the official GPL website (scroll down to find it).

Python, Zope, Plone and 3rd Partly add-ins are licensed to us under GPL compatible licenses and these works remain the property of the respective copyright holders. Logos, salesmarks, trademarks and/or other proprietary devices of IanFHood.com and/or the aforementioned organizations ,may not be used without express written permission from their respective copyright holder(s).If we made it out of what you gave us, the resulting work is yours too. Logos and trademarks etc. that we produce for you always belong to you, not to us. All original content you place on your site (your data) is yours too.
We retain ownership of all commissioned software and associated materials (such as documentation, user guides etc.) and non-graphical parts of the skin/theme. This ensures we have the right to license the works as GPL-compatible and to enforce it if need be.
